Hilda Namakula

Hilda Namakula is a research fellow for Makerere University School of Public Health serving on the Kampala Slum Maternal Newborn project. She formerly worked at the Center of Excellence for Maternal, New Born and Child Birth with a Post-Graduate Degree in social sciences from the University of Cape Town. Hilda is an alumnus of the Youth Think Tank, the Young Africa Leaders Initiative and the Youth4Policy fellowship where she researched labour migration to the Gulf Cooperation States
